About
your teacher Mariano Díaz Campos
Mariano is born in Buenos Aires. Mariano feels strongly connected to the
roots of the Argentine tango. He got his first dancing shoes from Antonio Todaro (legendary
tango dancer), learned his first milonga steps with Pepito Avellaneda
(legendary tango & milonga dancer) and he got a beautiful dance suit from
Osvaldo Pugliese (legendary composer).
Mariano has been
dancing Tango for over 18 years. He has 15 years experience as a tango
teacher and as a show dancer. Mariano toured with tango orchestras and
performed in many theatres and concert halls in Europe and abroad. He
performed as a stage tango dancer for the Royal House in Paleis Noordeinde
and in big theatres in Japan.
Mariano learned
tango with the best and studied intensively in Buenos Aires. He has created
his own didactic method, consisting of four main subjects: relaxed energy,
personality & style, sensitive connection and natural flow. In his classes
he focuses on subtle leading, analysis of movements, style, elegance,
musicality and improvisation.
